This is Beyond the Buzzer podcast with Don.
Speaker 2Beyond the Buzzer. What's good? You're leaving now.
Speaker 1And see so. Hello.
Speaker 2See Sal. The Don. Welcome, Don. It's our first episode.
Speaker 1Hello. Thank you. Thank you for having me.
Speaker 2This is what it is.
Speaker 1A lot of things have been happening lately in the sports world. Talk about it.
Speaker 2Talk about it, boo.
Speaker 1First and foremost, we have to talk about in this canter. Going to the WNBA game, acting a royal fool.
Speaker 2So is that the guy from the sideline ex-NBA player? Sideline. Yes. He had the sarcastic t-shirt.
Speaker 1Yes. About uh the definition of woman.
Speaker 2Yes, that's him. As if he wanted to play in the WNBA.
Speaker 1Almost said something. But yes. Yes, that's him. And um him and some was Royce something. I don't remember his last name, but they're talking about their inputting their bid into the WNBA draft for 2028.
Speaker 2Oh.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Yeah. That's supposed to work. I don't think I don't think it's gonna work out correctly. Um I mean, what's the saying? No sausage to the party. I don't get it. I'm not saying you know what are we talking about?
Speaker 1Um what are we talking about? That's between them and God. So so yeah, he's up there antagonizing the WNBA players, and I think that they should ban him from seeing games. Because that's all press is not good press at the end of the day. Because that was very weird when it came on my timeline. I said, What is this? What is this about? Why is a grown man antagonizing going to you're paying money, no less.
Speaker 2Are you are you sure it's a man? We're talking about a man here or a a child. Okay, just checking.
Speaker 1A little man child.
Speaker 2Just checking.
Speaker 1Okay, fair. You didn't even win any uh championships.
Speaker 2No, I don't believe he did. Did he play with the Thunder?
Speaker 1I don't know, but I know he played with the Celtics. And didn't he change his name? It was um when he was in the bubble, it was Innis Cantor Freedom or Innis Freedom Cantor.
Speaker 2I thought he yeah. He sounds like World Be Free. It's like World Be Free. But that's different though. That's different. Peace to Queens. Shout out the Queens.
Speaker 1I think he's trying to be Ron Artet slash Meta World Peace, but I mean that was Meta World Peace was a better, that's a better name. In his freedom, you couldn't think of nothing else.
Speaker 2I don't I don't understand the reason behind that.
Speaker 1Well, you know, remember during 2020, that was when the whole Black Lives Matter movement and things of that nature were going about, and most of the NBA players were changing their the stuff on their the back of their jerseys.
Speaker 2Yes, I do remember that.
Speaker 1But I think he actually changed his name. I can't remember specifically.
Speaker 2He jumped off a cliff with that one.
Speaker 1Many championship cliff, game cliff, you know, many cliffs. He's no longer on. You know, you gotta reach the pinnacle. He just jumped off, he just skipped that one.
Speaker 2So did we get um did we get a statement from like the WBA with the commissioner? I know the players are like feel the way.
Speaker 1I don't, I don't know. I don't know if they've said anything, to my knowledge, as of right now. I don't know if the commissioner has come out to say anything about what happened.
Speaker 2As far as a ban on or or check this out for some resolution for your face. How about? Well, it's not up to them, but what is he trying to do? Force them to change the language in the description of I mean, it says women, it doesn't get more definitive than that.
Speaker 1He's just a weird man. That's just a weird because that's just a weird man. Like you're just doing too much at this point. Go home. I got I gotta agree with that one. Save your money because you paid to sit in those chairs. You didn't get a free ticket.
Speaker 2I don't get the point. Women, it's a it's a league for women. Period. I don't see the problem. There's no getting in the middle of the letters, you know, it's always the the people that don't win anything that always have the most to say.
Speaker 1You don't win a championship, you don't win championships, you barely won games, and here you are in the WMBA. What you like I said, you paid the ticket, even on Ticketmaster or wherever you get the tickets from, and said cover.
Speaker 2I I may have to agree with you on that. He is absolutely a weirdo, and I don't see the point. I don't see the point. I don't know if he's doing double, I don't I don't see the point. Uh, he doesn't have a leg to stand on. He really doesn't. And women means women. If you're not a woman, you can't play. And I think that's pretty much something.
Speaker 1And there you you have it. I really have it. And then also, you heard that they've been throwing uh dildos on the court.
Speaker 2Wait, hold on, timeout.
Speaker 1Time time out a green dildo.
Speaker 2Flag thrown.
Speaker 1No, well, it wasn't a flag.
Speaker 2This is a flag. That wasn't a flag. That was the absolute flag. Whistle 15 yard penalty for dildos on green. It was green.
Speaker 1It was me on green.
Speaker 2During a game.
Speaker 1During a game. Thrones.
Speaker 2No, no, come on. All right, okay. What are we doing?
Speaker 1Timeout. Yeah, because who throwing the dildos on the court?
Speaker 2I got a question. Did Enos throw the dildo? No.
Speaker 1It was I just that would be fitting because you did play for the substance. You throw the green dildo. Murder. No, but it was somebody. You like again, like I said, you paid money and you bought a dildo with you. That's that's really that's really something.
Speaker 2And that's I don't want to laugh, but that's yeah, that's that's shameful. I don't understand the reason. And you just ruined a perfectly good dildo. Now I'm gonna get it, I'll get it. You ruined a perfectly good dildo. I'm just saying, for all the dildo lovers. Are you with me? Shut up, I gotta feel the way. I want to see marching outside the stadium. I want to see protests. Wow, I want to see some things behind the dildo action.
Speaker 1That is hilarious. But you know, this has been a thing over the years. People have gone to WNBA games to just make a mockery of it. And I think I personally don't like it.
Speaker 2Yeah, that's that's a shame because the WNBA is coming into their own. Yes, their profit share is growing, very much so is growing.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 2Um, the money, the girls get they got a raise.
Speaker 1Uh and I'm glad.
Speaker 2They got it raised, they got broken hospital some, some sponsorship money gone up.
Speaker 1That's wonderful for um.
Speaker 2I'm not mad at the WNBA and what they're trying to do. So when you're doing what you're supposed to do, here come the haters.
Speaker 1Evidently armed with dildos, because I'm saying and the and the haters that that do nothing but sit on their couch all day. Hello.
Speaker 2That part, it's that part, you know. It's that part for me. It's that part for me. Well, he gets the uh duty man of the day award if there's such a thing.
Speaker 1What about dildo man of the day?
Speaker 2That's funny.
unknownThat's funny.
Speaker 2You should get that on the t-shirt. Hey Enos, put that on your t-shirt and go out and yell for it. Big dog. Since you feel away, it's pretty funny. That's funny stuff. And where's my drink?
unknownI need that.
Speaker 2Keep that close. That's just juice. Don't get excited. That's just little juice. Little juice. Someone in the cheap seat said something.
Speaker 1Like in this canter.
SpeakerAnd the dildo zero, man. I cannot.
Speaker 2I cannot. Oh lord, no. See? Welcome to Beyond the Puzzer. I know you guys are like, what in the world are they on? We on the realness. We talking sports in the latest fool we talked about with Enos Cantor. He'll be okay.
Speaker 1He's gonna have to. Over time and by and by. Wait, is he on a team? No. Oh, okay. That's why he got free time to do whatever. Who is he? Somebody sign him. Like, go to the G League. Sue Falls.
Speaker 2Not the G League. You know LeBron's son, G League? Ronnie? G League?
Speaker 1You know.
Speaker 2I'll wait.
Speaker 1Like I've been saying, he should have stayed in the G League. And that is not his fault, obviously. He's getting called up. I do believe that he can be a good role player. He's gonna be a good role. Everybody ain't a superstar. Everybody's not gonna be a superstar at the end of the day. You can be a really good role player and do your job, like Tobias Harris. He's a role player. He's a great role player. He does what he needs to do for his team.
Speaker 212 years in? What is he, 13 years?
Speaker 1I think so, but he's over. I think he's made over 300 million.
Speaker 2Easy.
Speaker 1Because he knows what to do. He does his job. And he's good at it.
Speaker 2You got a point.
Speaker 1Everybody is not going to be a LeBron or a KD or a Steph. You need some Robert Horries.
Speaker 2Robert Ori was huge. Houston doesn't win that ring without a Robert Ori. Point blank period.
Speaker 1And he's a what? Role player.
Speaker 2He's a role player. Dennis Rodman.
Speaker 1Role player.
Speaker 2Rings.
Speaker 1A great rebound.
Speaker 2Hall of Famer.
Speaker 1Great rebound. But he did his job.
Speaker 2A little known fact when Dennis Rodman was young in the league, he was a scorer. No, it's not. Get out of town. He was a scorer. Wow. He was a scorer. And he used to average a little something, maybe close to 18 points a game.
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 2A lot of people don't know that. Young Dennis Rodman. Well, he used to score. Well, he knew how to play a role.
Speaker 1Yes. Very much.
Speaker 2And he worked, he worked it. And they got championships. Played with the goat.
Speaker 1And that's what you need to do. You don't need to be like everybody else. Do your role. Get your money. And get your rings. And get out the way.
Speaker 2Enus. Yeah, he has no rings. Back to that. You might have mentioned that a time or two.
Speaker 1I just need just in. That's funny. That's hilarious funny. But he, I mean, they paid Bronny. So what are you gonna do with him?
Speaker 2I'm not mad at Bronny. You know how many people try to get into the league and just cannot.
Speaker 1Right.
Speaker 2Um, that's their dream. And for some reason, one way or another, it doesn't happen.
Speaker 1Like Julian Newman.
Speaker 2Wow. I mean, you are getting strays out to them today.
Speaker 1No, it's just honest. Ooh. Been watching that guy for years. Oh, I'm going to the NBA. When?
Speaker 2Wow. When brutal for his ambitions, brutal. I just think he's not coachable. It's quite possible. I don't know that much about him.
Speaker 1No, it's okay. I'll tell you.
Speaker 2Okay, I'll break break that down for you.
Speaker 1Julia Newman has been on the internet for years. Probably when I was younger. And I would watch his highlights, and it was nice. But then once you they made um Hello Newman's, which is a family channel with him and his family. And you see the ins and outs of their family. His dad was his coach.
Speaker 2Okay.
Speaker 1Not the best idea.
Speaker 2Um so dad's uh every dad can't coach correctly. Hello. You know, Brunson was an anomaly.
Speaker 1Hello.
Speaker 2That's an outlier. You know, everybody can't go, you know, son, I'm gonna show you how to get to the league.
Speaker 1Well, he can't do that because they're about the same height. So and this is nothing about height. I want to I want to make that totally clear. I think we might be the same height, me and Julian, but that's that's not a problem because you know Muggsy Bowles was what 5'3?
Speaker 2Muggs Muggsy was a short short shortster, but he knew that.
Speaker 1I mean But Muggsy was most likely what coachable.
Speaker 2He was Julian.
Speaker 1He was he, I think last year or maybe the year before last, he finally got to college. So he was like a 24-year-old freshman playing. Wait, wait, hold on, wait, hold on. Don't speed past that. I'm not. I'll let you, I'll let that sizzle your fajita.
Speaker 2But where was he a freshman at 24?
Speaker 1Not at a D1, D2, or D3 school.
Speaker 2Come on now. Was he a pork chop on the side of the road? I'm trying to figure out. Where was this man at as 24-year-old freshman with aspirations to the league, yes?
Speaker 1To the league. Now, do I know what realm of the college is in? No. I know he played for Bethesda, maybe college or university. University, don't quote me.
Speaker 2That's like CUNY. That's like CUNY College or something. City College. Something like that.
Speaker 1So he played. Of course, we right past that one. He played. And he was still doing the same Julian things. Okay. It's not gonna work. When you played Lamello ball all those years ago, and that was televised, they got you real bad. For your size, I believe, I do I believe he can get to the NBA? Most likely, yes. If you're if you get the right coach and listen and not be a hothead. You have to know, hey, this is not, this is a team sport, this is not one-on-one. I'm playing with other people. Okay, they guarding me hard because they know my name. They know what I can do. Ditch the ball. That's the thing. We can have assist.
Speaker 2See a lot of issues with that movement he's trying to do. I mean, a lot of problems with first of all, you do have to have some sort of coaching. You gotta be able to listen. And if you're not in a D1 or D2 school, your odds dwindle down to like winning the lotto odds or something. Or even worse than that. Like it's just molecular as far as getting to the league. And you're not coachable, and you're a hot head, and you're low.
Speaker 1Now he's on the 1v1 circuit. And he's playing there. Yes, but he's he's he's better. I would say I wish he did that earlier so he can possibly go to the league because he's getting the different mindset because they they're cussing him out. Like, hey, stop all that talking about files and stuff, stop crying, play the game.
Speaker 2What the baby gonna do?
Speaker 1Wang. So you know you got the you have to have that different mindset because you're pulling grown men.
Speaker 2So is he 24 now?
Speaker 1He might still be, or he might have had a birthday.
Speaker 2I bet I look him up.
Speaker 1Because he I know he's born in 01, so he's like a year older than me.
Speaker 2I gotta look him up and see what he's doing currently.
Speaker 1On the 1v1 circuit. I just told you. That's what he's doing.
Speaker 2That's like the Chitman circuit for basketball.
Speaker 1My God, today.
Speaker 2It's like the Chitlin circuit nowadays.
Speaker 1That's that's not really circuit is wild. That's a crazy statement. I'm just gonna let that.
Speaker 2I mean, I'm just trying to apples to apples. That's what I'm saying. That's all I'm that's all I'm trying to do here. That's all I'm trying to do. Welcome all the listeners, all the guys watching us for the first time. Don't forget to subscribe, look us up, hang out with us at least once a week. Donnie on that side, C Sal on this side. This is what we do. It's beyond the buzzer. We got a ton of things to talk about, tons of things uh to touch on. We also have our first sponsor. Yeah, I'm still getting all that together, but believe it or not, we're seven seconds old and got a sponsor walking. What? I've never been sponsored before. You and I both. We mean my mom may make enough money and get sponsors for everybody. It's like what? Sponsor? That's somebody watching TV. Right. God now. Yeah, we got a little bit of a sponsorship happening. A little behind the curtain action.
Speaker 1Oh, that's nice.
Speaker 2Thank you, Lord. Amen. And then we'll just slide by like that. Who else gets the uh foolishness of the week award?
Speaker 1Oh, the lady. Take your time. Her last name's Karen. And I don't want to butcher her first name, so I'm not gonna say it. But she's in a WMBA. Okay. She filed Sophie Cunningham. Hopefully, I'm saying that correctly. You so you know what I'm talking about. You've seen this?
SpeakerYeah.
Speaker 1You know, I've seen bits and pieces, but then I found the whole. She goes on Twitter.
Speaker 2Twitter. Everyone likes to go to Twitter.
Speaker 1Twitter. Twitter. And says white privilege. Let me pull up the quote.
Speaker 2I need the quote on this one because we're starting to talk about privilege.
Speaker 1She.
Speaker 2I'm gonna need the quote.
Speaker 1She plays on the Chicago Sky.
Speaker 2Chicago Sky. We love the Chicago Sky.
Speaker 1Hello. We do. She was ejected from the game against the Indiana Fever on August 8th, 2026, following a flagrant two foul on Sophie Cunningham. Did she draw blood? Flagrant 2 was tough stuff. No. Okay. I I hope not. Um, she posted white privilege and added the Indiana Fever. It's a new level of my God today. Teen beef. So Cunningham responds and says this has nothing to do with race. Now, at first I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, what's going on? Okay. White privilege, what's going on? Because Carrington is black. She is African American. Sophie Cunningham. White. Okay. I look at the video. Okay. I said, hmm. You clogged her to Jesus. Why are you posting that? Why are you posting? You deserve to be out the job.
Speaker 2Flagrant three.
Speaker 1Make a four or five. You hit you hit that lady. You hit that lady upside her head. Now I would have fought you.
Speaker 2And I don't think online.
Speaker 1And I there's more.
Speaker 2Wow.
Speaker 3Wow.
Speaker 1She said that Carrington later clarified that she wasn't saying that the flagrant to and ejection itself was white privilege. Why would you post that? What? Why would you why would you post that? That doesn't make any sense to me.
Speaker 2Real messy. I don't understand.
Speaker 1Why would you post that?
Speaker 2I'm confusing.
Speaker 1Why would you post that?
Speaker 2I'm confusion. I'm I'm Mr. Confusion.
Speaker 1You trying to re- retract your statement. No, it wasn't about you added.
Speaker 2So I can hear you clear.
Speaker 1Can you hear me clear?
Speaker 2If it's pointing at you this way, it'll be super clear.
Speaker 1Hello.
Speaker 2Cash.
Speaker 1Money. So why would you post that? It added the Indiana Fever.
Speaker 2Did I got a question? Did she lose that game?
Speaker 1I don't even know.
Speaker 2Because it doesn't matter. No, it kind of matters.
Speaker 1You already clocked the colour.
Speaker 2You're the aggressor. Wait, you're the aggressor. You already clocked the club. And then you're gonna run and cry if that isn't the epitome of privilege. I mean the attempt at it in the first place. I mean stop. I mean you have a pleasure.
Speaker 1You hit that lady upside of the head. Privilege or not. You're ejected.
Speaker 2You know what? I don't condone the violence, but she should have hit it back.
Speaker 1Then that would've be a whole different thing.
Speaker 2Well then it'd have been fair. A little more fair. But uh I don't like the quote.
Speaker 1Me neither, because what do you mean? Why would you why would you eat I was about to say email? She did not email that.
Speaker 2If the lady would have turned around and said, Why'd you hit me and hit her back across her own head? What would be her quote? What would be her text? Her twitter.
Speaker 1Something about white people.
Speaker 2That's retarded. That was retarded. And I wonder if she won the game or not. I think that had a lot to do with it. She probably got first you got ejected. And the whistle. That's what my boy Andy.
Speaker 1It's just too much. It's just too much. And I I just look at it sideways.
Speaker 2Like, why would you it's it's it's more than too much. It's it's way too much.
Speaker 1There's already a lot going on in the world. We don't care about that. You know, we do not care about that.
Speaker 2I don't know if there's any room for more foolishness. I mean, you keep adding to the foolishness bucket.
Speaker 1Hello. We don't have more time.
Speaker 2You gotta be kidding. You gotta be kidding. This is wonderful. Oh, you guys tuned in to Beyond the Buzzer. And after the buzzer, we talk trash. Sports related, so you'll enjoy it. So all my sports folks out there. Donnie over there. I mean, people catching strays from Donnie today.
Speaker 1It's not strays. She's pointed in A. Ah, me. What'd they say? Center mass. Center mass. Locked and loaded. Just my thoughts and my opinions. Everybody got them.
Speaker 2Everybody got them.
Speaker 1Just like other things.
Speaker 2Mmm. Alright, we're on the butcher list today. We're going down the list of the foolishness that's occurring across the league this day. I mean, my head is. I mean, you're in basketball. I get it, but you know, I'm heavy on the football today.
Speaker 1Go ahead.
Speaker 2I'm just heavy on the football. I'm just can't wait until the season starts. Preseason is about over with. They're gonna start to cut down the uh cut down the squads from 90, 90 men.
Speaker 190.
Speaker 2To 53.
Speaker 1Oh, that's a heavy cut.
Speaker 2I'm trying to tell you.
Speaker 1Ooh, that's a heavy cut.
Speaker 2That's a heavy cut. We gotta get the roster down to 53 men. And has to be done by, I think, Monday. Either tomorrow or Monday, like 6 p.m.
Speaker 1So somebody's gonna be without a job. A lot of people are gonna be without a job.
Speaker 2That part. That part. A lot of people are about to be without a job. So I'm like, I'm a Giants fan, big time. Go blue. I just need to see what we look like. I think we just pulled off a defensive tackle trade. One of Harbaugh's old defensive tackles was able to get him. Big guy, and we need defensive tackle help. So I'm excited about that. I mean, I've seen seven and a half to eight games on the over-under for the New York Giants. Okay. This coming year, which is fair because we've won six games in the last two years.
Speaker 1Hold on.
unknownRight.
Speaker 1Hold on. Hold the phone. You said you won six games in the past. One six. Six games in the past how many years? Two seasons. So three and three.
Speaker 2Three and fourteen. Three and four and thirteen. Like, yeah, it's been bad. So they didn't show up. Uh at all. Didn't get off the bus much. But new coach, new offense, new defensive coach, new defense, new players added to the nucleus we do have.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2That's got high, high ceiling potential.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2A Malik Neighbors, a Jackson card, you know, a little scatterboo, a little we got some things.
Speaker 1Likely they sign like this type of scatterboo? Scatterable. Is he concussed?
Speaker 2No, he's fine.
Speaker 1He hasn't played in the city. No, because he he bangs his head on walls and things. I don't. Is he okay? Like, um, no, seriously.
Speaker 2That's one and the same. Same running back. He is not concussed. He's a little out there for a running back. A little. He's very aggressive. Wait, he's a running back? He is a running back, and he will look to hit you first. So if you want something, no way to find it. He is not concussed. Can we get him a CTU scared? You don't need a C scar for my running back. Thank you, ma'am.
Speaker 1No, he's fine. Sir. He's fine. He bangs his head on walls. Wait, it's a soft wall. Give him a break. A soft scatterable Go Big Blue.
Speaker 2Let's go scat. He'll hurt you. If you try to tackle him, you're gonna talk about yourself.
Speaker 1What does he talk about himself?
Speaker 2No, he's fine. We played Dallas game one.
Speaker 1That's nice, but I don't think he's fine. But okay. No, no, he's fine.
Speaker 2No, there's no doctor humming around him. He's fine. There needs to be. Easy. I know there's a I know there's a whole article. There's a CTE situation. The numbers of CTE unsurprisingly have gone up uh year after year. First, no one knew what happened. But NFL, to their small amount of credit, try to get ahead of it by issuing some of the concussed doctors, implement some of these programs. They wear the soft helmets, not only in practice, but they'll extra layer. Right. No, I've seen those. Yes. They'll wear them in the games now because they're trying to at least do something to address the ZTE.
Speaker 1Right. Give him two.
Speaker 2It's football. Give him two what? No, no. Give him two soft helmets. He's fine. He's fine. And if you don't believe he's fine, the Dallas game is the first opening weekend, September 13th, 8 30 p.m. Okay. Prime time. So the whole world's gonna watch him get concussed. Or not, I'm not wishing concussed on my scatterbo. Trust me, I'm on the record on that. I know. Because he's already concussed. Write to Donnie. Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't write to Donald. Don't write to me. No, because I'm concerned. No, no, you said your time is Donnie. All the Giant fans. I love y'all. Send him to Donnie. Don't blow up my mailbox with the foolishness. No, he's fine. Okay. I think the Giants have a really good shot at doing something extra special. That's good. They still need a couple of players. Okay. We never have too many good players. Yeah. But with our linebacker core, offense that's gonna put up some um points. Offensive line that's looking better and better. We haven't had a great offensive line in a few years.
Speaker 1So let me ask you this question because I word on the curb is that Von Miller went to the Cowboys. Vonnie, I believe he did. I think he signed last week, I believe. So do you think that changes anything against your team this opening, this coming game?
Speaker 2Scatterboo's gonna run Von Miller over.
Speaker 1Oh.
Speaker 2I mean, I don't understand. You can get you could get Von Miller. They also have a couple, they have a good players in on the defense. I mean, they're not total bombs, but they're partial bombs at the very least.
Speaker 1Partial, okay.
Speaker 2Partial bombs.
Speaker 1So Von Miller, didn't he? He won a championship. He won a Bonnie with Denver.
Speaker 2I believe he did.
Speaker 1Right. That's okay. That was what?
Speaker 2Vonnie's a little long in the tooth. He's got a few tackles last year. Evident by moving from one team to another, if he was all that, he'd be settled, sit back on his, you know, his cash and just chill.
Speaker 1He's okay, but he's not playing for big blue, so I'm not trying to sit here and so you don't think that's gonna be a problem in their lineup against Against U?
Speaker 2Yeah. No. Okay. He's gotta deal with our offensive line. Okay. And as long as the running back doesn't miss a blitzing block, I think we'll be okay. Okay. He doesn't scare me.
unknownNo, no.
Speaker 1Well, that's that's wonderful. That's what happened. That's all I have to say.
Speaker 2Don't think he's gonna be.
Speaker 1How old is Vaughn? Do we know?
Speaker 230s.
unknownOkay.
Speaker 1I know because I think I watched him win that Super Bowl and I was in middle school.
Speaker 2Yeah, uh, you do the math. Vonnie's up there.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2But he's in she's in great shape now. Uh Aaron Donald.
Speaker 1I really want him to come back.
Speaker 2Who retired, went out as a champ, got his ring, still in great shape. He's been out of football now at least a couple of years.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2But he stays in shape.
Speaker 1Yeah, he does.
Speaker 2I think he's gonna come back and play with the Rams.
Speaker 1I would love to see that. Alongside Miles Garrett. Oh my gosh. I would love to see that. Terror. Love to see that. Actually, I would buy a jersey. You would buy his jersey? Oh, I love Aaron Donald.
Speaker 2That's high brow. That's big, big. Aaron Donald's a good guy. He's solid too. I love him. Doesn't miss a lot of tackles, and he'll get you. That part. He'll get you. And and I hope he does come back because I have him in fantasy. Let's go Rams defense.
unknownYeah.
Speaker 1Actually, don't come back.
Speaker 2Stay home and enjoy the retirement.
Speaker 1Come come on. No, because I have to play, I have to play you in fantasy. Yeah, you do. Come on together. Enjoy the retirement.
Speaker 2Love on your children. Come true.
Speaker 1Play golf. You know, have a good time.
Speaker 2No, he likes the wait room. He likes the film room.
Speaker 1Okay, you can watch them and then tell him, hey, this is what you need to do. I don't need him on that team. If you're you have the Rams defense. No, no, no.
Speaker 2I absolutely have the Rams defense. And that's the problem. And as soon as he gets back in uniform, they're gonna feel it. They're gonna feel it. Just saying. You just said you buy his jersey in the home. I will.
Speaker 1But now that you have the Rams defense, and I'm playing you in fantasy, I don't have time.
Speaker 2Sounds like personal stuff. Wow. Rude. So it's okay. Rude. That's what that is. It's Aaron Donald.
Speaker 1Love the guy.
Speaker 2He's not playing for Big Blue, and I think he's gonna be that guy. You can't block him and Miles Garrett. No, you can't. You gotta pick one. Yeah. Gotta pick one. And both of them are gonna get you. They only five on the offense. You need to double team them a piece. That's four.
Speaker 1Now they're just kind of feast. Nothing but smooth sailing. Nothing but smooth sailing. I think we got front door action.
Speaker 3Oh.
Speaker 2Okay.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Just checking. Anyway, where were we?
Speaker 1We were talking about Aaron Donald and how I want him to stay home because you have the Rams defense. But I would love him to come back if you didn't have the Rams defense.
Speaker 2It's big Aaron. It's going down. Come back and play with Miles Garrett. That was that would be a fun situation. That would be great. They can steamroll themselves to the big dance.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 2He's big, he's fast. Yes, he is. He's strong. I mean, it's gonna be a problem. If he comes back, it's just gonna be a problem. How much you want that? I might buy one myself if he comes back and get a ring. Why not put it in the collection? Yes. I'm not mad at that.
Speaker 1Yes, very much.
Speaker 2I got the long I got the I got some bets set already though. Oh, on the games. Yeah, my black, you know, my dark horse. Did some giants bets and got to get to the division, get to the playoffs. Okay. Take the division. Oh. The big money better is they win it all.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Through some change at that.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Pixie dust. Just in case, just in case the ooh I crap was around. Right. Da-da-da! I look like a genius. Sal is a genius. See this guy? But yeah. We'll work it out. But yeah, I took care of that. You just never know. That is see the Patriots last year. Yes. You just never know. You really don't. You know, Denver this year, Seattle defending champs. Yes. A lot of great NFL stuff is going to happen. Detroit. Colts. I mean, they got uh Atlanta. I don't know about Atlanta. But they do have the running back of life.
Speaker 1Yes, they do.
Speaker 2I got him too in fantasy. But we're gonna leave.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, I know. I know you stole him from me. Oh! In the thievery! You did. You stole him. Highway robbery. Because I was I was gunning for him, and then it's how he's off the board through my through my whole night off.
Speaker 2There's no way it threw your whole night off. It was there.
Speaker 1And it was gone.
Speaker 2When I picked, I picked second.
Speaker 1Duh. I picked fourth.
Speaker 2He was not getting out of my grips.
Speaker 1He got out of mine.
Speaker 2We'll see. Patrick used him last year to beat the snot out of everybody.
Speaker 1Yeah, he did. Yeah, he did. That's why that's still his name on there.
Speaker 2Yeah, I don't know if he changed it or not. I don't think he changed it.
Speaker 1So you know what?
Speaker 2It's pretty good.
Speaker 1This is a mess right now.
Speaker 2It's pretty good. We have 10 teams this year, though. It's gonna be great. Rose. Yes.
Speaker 1First time get down. I'm so excited. My country playing.
Speaker 2Dejahn's always trying to be the number one guy. Right.
Speaker 1What would be great is if she won this year. I would still root for her. I don't even care if she beats me. That's my cousin.
Speaker 2Everybody take it easy. Everybody calm down. She's a Denver fan. So?
unknownNo.
Speaker 1Oh.
Speaker 2No.
Speaker 3You know what?
Speaker 2It's still family. I love you, Rose. I can't wait to play you. Wait, wait, wait. As soon as Aaron Down gets back.
Speaker 1And here you go with the shenanigans. I don't got time.
Speaker 2As soon as he gets back.
Speaker 1Stay home, sir. Enjoy your family some more.
Speaker 2Let's go.
Speaker 1Let's go home.
Speaker 2What are we talking about? Let's go. No, let's stay home. Who else is on the shenanigan list? Uh, let's take a looky. Who do we like? I like the Yankees. They are killing me.
Speaker 1I don't have a baseball team or a football team.
Speaker 2I need you to reevaluate and pick.
Speaker 1Pick?
Speaker 2Blindfold. Okay. Let me see.
Speaker 1I don't know. I would have to research.
Speaker 2Let's go, Yankees. Yankees are trying to play the radio, though. Tampa Bay, somebody beat Tampa Bay Rays, please. They keep winning. They get me sick. The Yankees are trying to catch them. I mean the Yankees are not first place in the wild card by Philip's, but not the point. Right. Tampa's in first place in the division. They just keep winning. Get me sick. Anyway. That's just that's a peep inside. That's a peek inside my brain. But anywho. Anywho, all the uh welcome you guys. Again, it's beyond the buzzer. Donnie. CSAW. It's what we do once or twice a week. We're gonna give you guys some uh email addresses. I'm gonna put Donnie's address up there. You can email her or your grudge.
Speaker 1Don't do that.
Speaker 2Or your worries.
Speaker 1Don't do that.
Speaker 2Or your dating questions.
Speaker 1Dating questions. You know what? Send me the dating questions. I can do that. I could do that one.
Speaker 2We might have to add a segment. I will do that. That is a pretty good idea. Get your dating questions out. We'll have Donnie break it down for you. I got you. That's gonna be that's a whole different kind of interesting. Ooh, get my popcorn for that. It is beyond the buzzer. Yours truly. Donnie over there, C Sal over here. This is what we do. Talk about these sports athletes, these sports situations. Sometimes you're on the chopping block. Sometimes you get the accolades. But we may or may not talk about you. You know. We we probably will talk about you. Who else is on the list that we can talk about?
Speaker 1You know, James Harden re-signed to Cleveland.
Speaker 2The beard. There's no way. This right here is diabolical. This is a diabolical situation. You said the beard.
Speaker 1I don't understand.
Speaker 2That's a diabolical gesture just saying.
Speaker 1He just agreed to a three-year 97 million dollar con track.
Speaker 2With Cleveland?
Speaker 1Let's go cav. Yeah. With them, yeah.
Speaker 2Why? I got so many things to say about this.
Speaker 1Go ahead.
Speaker 2Why would you empty out the back end of your budget for James Harden? Because he didn't lay on LeBron. So you panic? You hit the panic button and dump the money into Harden's account? He's not gonna take you any further than the regular team that's there. Wait a minute.
Speaker 1Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I do apologize, Mr. Harding.
Speaker 2Wait a minute. Did you blurt out Cancun? The season hasn't started yet. One, two, three. The season hasn't started for another two months. And I don't see Cleveland really holding up in the East. East has gotten a little bit stronger. A little scary, but let's go back to the beard. Get your money, man.
Speaker 1Oh, yeah, because you're not getting the ring.
Speaker 2If you want to talk about role players, it's not like he's leading this team. You know, it's not, he's not that guy. So I would consider him. If you're not the point person, then you're a role player at some degree. Yeah. And that's one hell of a paying, high-paying position right there for a role player. That's big money. Very much so. But and he is long in the tooth. And that beard is just as nappy. I'ma keep it, I'm gonna keep it a buck. I'm gonna keep it a buck with you. Now I know he does the oils and all that. I'm just teasing. Speaking of speaking of speaking of oils. Let me get the oil. Get him hooked up. So biofolic. Biofolic. It's for the beard.
Speaker 1You know what?
Speaker 2It's for the skin.
Speaker 1Did you actually did you actually look that up?
Speaker 2Biofolic is our sponsor.
Speaker 1And it's a beautiful situation. Let me get some. Well, you said it's for a beard. I don't have a beard.
Speaker 2That's number one. Number two, it's for the aggravated skin condition underneath your beard.
Speaker 1Oh, okay.
Speaker 2So it's a product that also softens the beard. Okay. But it uh first and first priority is to get the skin. That sounds good.
Speaker 1That's nice.
Speaker 2And evidently there's nothing on the market that's in that lane that does it without doing dry your skin out or break you out.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2So evidently biofolic. Biofolic. It's gonna be body wash, it's gonna be all kind of shampooed.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Biofolic.
Speaker 1Well, thank you to our sponsor.
Speaker 2Our sponsor, biofolic.
Speaker 1Thank you to them because people be out here with rough beard and rough faces.
Speaker 2The rough skin. And it's a it's a condition like to these folks. Um detriment, it's it's a condition.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2That's not treated if you go get it treated at a doctor to give you some generic something to tell you to get out of the office.
Speaker 1And it doesn't help with both things.
Speaker 2At all, right? Right. It doesn't cover all the bases. So biofolic, the sponsor for Beyond the Buzzer.
Speaker 1Hello.
Speaker 2Check them out. We'll be giving out plenty of information on where you can get your biofolic. Uh products here shortly, but that just came hot over the wire. Thought I'd give it to our fans really quickly. That's nice. We're on it. We're on it. We're beyond the buzzer. We're on it right here. Let me do it here. 44 minutes in. It's a beautiful thing. Who's next? I want to talk about somebody else. Let's talk about somebody. We need Tina. Tina's not here now. Tina has to tea. You may catch that on the next uh post. Right. We can fit it in somewhere on this one. We'll see. We'll see how it goes. We're in contract negotiations with her. We're in negotiations. Trying to get her contract under uh under control.
Speaker 1Uh-huh.
Speaker 2So she can do her thing.
Speaker 1Please beyond the buzzer. Because I think that would be I think that would be good. I think that would be really good. She's pushing for it.
Speaker 2She's pushing for it. If her lawyer calls me one more time, I'm gonna lose it.
Speaker 1Did you hear about DeMar DeRozan?
Speaker 2Damar DeRozan.
Speaker 1He has signed with the Denver Nuggets.
Speaker 2Oh, he wind up going to Denver. Yeah. It was a discussion. It was a possibility. Um, he has to play alongside that other guard. Murray. Yeah. I think that's gonna really give them a little bit of flexibility.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Gotta spread the floor. You gotta pay DeRosen some attention.
Speaker 1You got to. Because that man is the mini midi man. He'll do 20 points in your face. Yeah. You'll look up. How did that happen?
Speaker 2It's true. You have to be honest. You have to play him honestly. Can you cheat? He'll make you pay. That's gonna be pretty good to watch. Denver needed a little more nugget. I'm not here for that. You saw what I did there. Bang bang with the bang. That's just what we do.
Speaker 1It's just what we do. Because you have Jamal Murray, then you'll have him, and you also have Jokic. Well, Jokic is gonna be Jokic.
Speaker 2Oh yeah. They would jump on Murray though.
unknownYes.
Speaker 2They throw double teams, he'll throw all the tricks. Big, he's he's he's not the tallest guy. They'll put big wings on him. They'll make it really tough for him. But you can't do that now with DeRozan. I don't care who you're playing.
Speaker 1But at least they got rid of um Michael, the poor the possession interior Porter Jr.
Speaker 2I thought he was okay. I guess he had spots.
Speaker 1That man is like a void when you pass him the ball. I just want to be doing you pass to him, just know you're not getting the ball back. He's gonna shoot it. He's never seen a bad shot, even though we have. Copy. Copy that. Don't paste it though.
Speaker 2It is the black hole. I mean, well, he's gonna make every attempt to score. Because he's on the the nets, right? He's on the nets now. Now he's yeah, what role player? I don't know if he understands his role, but he keeps the paycheck. You know, it's all right. But I'm mad at the shots.
Speaker 1But is he a champion? He's a champion.
Speaker 2Little hardware. Someone's having a good time with the lighting. We're actually at the lounge right now. We just and someone's someone's hitting or there's a lot of lighting. Not sure what's going on. Someone's reading a book. Someone's I'm not sure what's gonna security. Security. We get somebody to handle lighting in our background, please. Thank you. So we finalize! Security. Oh my god. This is a great time. This is beyond the buzzer, man. This is what we do. Hit subscribe. You can see us at least once a week. I'm gonna give you guys some likes and all where you can uh complain, talk trash. We're gonna finish up uh contracts with Tina and Mati. And we're gonna see if we can get the union to talk these lighting on people. I need a union boss. I need a union boss. I need someone to talk to. I'm gonna call Saul. Let me call Saul over there at the spot. Let me ask Saul, what is going on? You guys are ruining our shot. You know. Good stuff. Alright, so we're gonna wrap this up.
Speaker 1I guess for now. One last question. How do you feel about grind the gear? LeBron going to the 76ers.
Speaker 2I thought we were gonna get out of this show without mentioning LeBron going to the Sixers. No, actually. You thought wrong. Not for first of all, Nixon 5. That's number one. Again. And and hold on. Again. And hold on. Again. But hold on. We play Philadelphia. Yes, on y'all rings night. On the rings night. So there's no doubt that he's gonna know where he has to go get the trophy from. If he really wants it. He really won it. You come to East Side like it can really happen. You might finish fourth place.
Speaker 1Maybe. So do you think with the team that the Seven and Sixers have right now, you think they can't compete neck and neck with the Knicks?
Speaker 2No. Not neck and neck. They have a good team. I think they have a good team, especially on paper. They have a good team. Yeah. But they have to share the ball. And there's got to be continuity. And then these guys that have to play and compliment each other. Also, coaching, running the plays, you're going to have to stick to the strengths. Don't get starstruck because it's LeBron.
Speaker 1Right. LeBron James.
Speaker 2Oh my God, give him the ball. We're going to the chip. No. And I hope you do that because we'll score 100 points on you first half.
Speaker 1I don't think they're going to do that. You know why?
Speaker 2I hope not. I just hope not.
Speaker 1I don't think they're going to do that because they have they also have Joel and B when he's healthy. And he's part-time. He needs to get part-time benefits, not full-time benefits.
Speaker 2You know, part-time employee employee.
Speaker 1I'm not, I'm gonna let I'm going to let you say that over there. No, no, hold on. You have Joel and B, like I said. Part-time. He's doing 20 hours a week of part-time.
Speaker 2You know what? What's part-time is 15 hours a week? What's 15 hours a week? Jesus. Isn't that classified as part-time? I don't know. No, no, no one knows, and I can't get no help. I don't know. I can't get no help.
Speaker 1I don't know.
Speaker 2But nobody wants help. Everybody wants to go, but nobody wants to help.
Speaker 1I can tell you this though. Okay. When he's healthy, he's a good player. Then you also have Jalen Brown.
Speaker 2Love Jalen Brown. That's just that play for us, kinda. So he averages 25. He's gonna do the dirty.
Speaker 1And you have BJ Edgecoat.
Speaker 2Not enough basketballs.
Speaker 1Because Tyrese Maxie.
Speaker 2It's certainly not enough basketballs. And to D them all is gonna be crazy. You're gonna have to do some kind of zone concept because one-on-one, someone's gonna get beat up.
Speaker 1I just think that if everybody knows their role. Oh, that's a high bar. And this is not the Olympics. Not in the slightest. And that's a whole nother thing about Joel and the Olympics.
Speaker 2But yeah, sure. It certainly is.
Speaker 1But if everybody knows their role and know where they're at, one, two, three, four, five, I think they will be fine. But you have to know your role and know, okay, one man's out, now it's now I'm four. Now I'm three, now I'm two, now I'm one. You have to know your role.
Speaker 2What's fine? Playoffs? They'll be fine. What's fine? Playoffs? First round? Second round. They ain't going that far. First of all, they're being without for a length of time. Out of their length of time, they're really gonna have to step up and not turn those into houses. Something's always wrong with him. You have a point. Something's always wrong with him. I don't even know why I asked. So no, his downtime is built into their schedule. Period. So now during the down times, he's gonna have downtime. So that's given. He's gonna be out for this, that, and the third. Whenever he's out, someone's gonna have to step up and not have those as losses.
Speaker 1Right.
Speaker 2He's out.
Speaker 1Do they have a backup center? Who's their backup center? Do we know? We don't. I don't know.
Speaker 2But whoever it was, it was it was last year. We cooked them, we put them on the barbecue grill.
Speaker 1But now I'm talking about for the and I think you know that. I think I know you know that I'm talking about this year, this upcoming year, and here you go.
Speaker 2Oh, bring in the backup barbecue chicken. If you take him out, our big man or any big man, because there's a lot of teams have gotten stronger.
Speaker 1Yes, they have.
Speaker 2You play Miami, and if he doesn't play, and they play Miami, Giannis is a good one. You're gonna put Braun at the five. You're gonna put Braun at the five. Here's behind the bench with fouls. Now you're down two players, two superstars.
Speaker 1But then you still got your three. You still have three.
Speaker 2You gotta put an extra battery in each of their backs to make up the slack. It's not fair. I don't think they'll go as far.
Speaker 1So do you think they're gonna exit out the first round?
Speaker 2I don't think they're first rounders. Okay. It depends. They gotta be healthy. Yeah, I'll put it this way. If they're healthy, I think they do better than the first round. But if they're for any reason, if they're missing any of the pieces, yeah, they're gonna be vulnerable. They're gonna be vulnerable. Well, but we're gonna see because the East is pretty stacked.
Speaker 1They are stacked. The heat is on the radar. The heat got clay. He got clay. I saw that. Clay, clay. I saw that. So now he's with Giannis. And bam!
Speaker 2But is his battery empty? Probably. Ooh.
unknownThat's tough.
Speaker 1You have to play different. You know who Teamad is.
Speaker 2Ooh, I want to see the offense that's gonna go in because you got to change it.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 2So that's gonna be interesting. Really interesting to watch.
Speaker 1I'm excited for this.
Speaker 2And Spulter's gonna have them rocking. You can believe it. He's gonna take advantage of the.
Speaker 1Pat Riley does not play.
Speaker 2Well, Pat Riley is gonna be dead and gone and still not play. He don't he just don't play. That's just the epitome of Pat Riley, period.
Speaker 1And no lies were told.
Speaker 2Yeah, I mean, that's that's just Pat Riley. But they're gonna be fun to watch. But again, Nixon Five, respect the champs.
Speaker 1Any anybody in the West that you think might be a little?
Speaker 2The West is pretty interesting. I'm not sure what the Thunder are trying to prove by getting rid of their better players.
Speaker 1Yeah, because who did it?
Speaker 2Jade um They got rid of Williams. Hold on. I think they got rid of Williams, like one of their best players. No, Dorrit? Was it Dorot? No, I think it was Dorrit. Why do you get rid of him? He's really good. Yeah, that you know it's crazy. I mean, even if he's rotational, he's one of the better rotational guys. Yes. I just don't know what their end game is.
Speaker 1Maybe they're too much money over the cap.
Speaker 2It's true. I didn't look at their financial.
Speaker 1That salary cap, those first and second aprons will getcha.
Speaker 2Them aprons are the real deal.
Speaker 1Very much so.
Speaker 2Um Minnesota, I like to look at.
Speaker 1Yes, and they're I think they're trying to get Jonathan Kaminga.
Speaker 2Now you're talking.
Speaker 1I think either they either they're trying to get him or he's signed there now. I can't remember.
Speaker 2I've gonna research that right away because if that's the case, now you're talking.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Because they will attack the rim.
Speaker 1Oh, yes, for sure.
Speaker 2Oh my gosh, and that's cominga's language. Are you kidding me? Hello, man. That'll be really, really good. Uh the Lakers are still the Lakers. They got a lot going on. Care to talk about the Lakers. They yo purple and gold. Or purple and gold.
Speaker 1As I've stated.
Speaker 2Or shook you're sucking now.
Speaker 1I'm no longer a Lakers fan. Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. And that hurts my heart deeply. Been a fan all my life. Wait a minute. All my life. Don't give up on them now. No, it's not the players. Well then who? Ownership. Oh. Talk about it. Very much political. Talk about it. You know. Trump people don't like that.
Speaker 2So are you sure? Kushner's got a fingerprint on something that has to do with him, but you think, oh.
Speaker 1There's two people that were in this buyout.
Speaker 2One was uh uh the guy from Disney.
Speaker 1Who?
Speaker 2The guy from Disney.
Speaker 1I don't know who from Disney.
Speaker 2Yeah, it was one of the guys from Disney.
Speaker 1But there's somebody else that is, I think, related to Trump because they married his there. You go. I don't got time. Son-in-law, brother of the son-in-law.
Speaker 2It's one of the cushions.
Speaker 1I think he's the son-in-law, but it don't matter. No thank you.
Speaker 2Actually, I read that the the financial crew were initially trying to uh form a Las Vegas team. So they were they were trying to fund the whole thing, team, stadium, whole thing for Vegas. And they said, well, with the amount of money we're gonna put into this, let's see if we can get something else for maybe a dollar or two less. And they made a couple of calls. Just so happens the owner of the Lakers, who just purchased the Lakers, what, a year ago? One or two years ago, has some sort of money issues.
Speaker 1Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2Legal.
Speaker 1Yeah. You go into jail.
Speaker 2But evidently, he has some sort of situations that he considered their offer. Why? The offer. So he made two billion, I guess, in a year or two. Yeah. So he turned his money over and he's back off into the woods or wherever the billionaires go to hang out.
Speaker 1Yeah, so now I'm on the I'm a free agent for a fan.
Speaker 2So this is interesting. I don't know if I know any professional free agent fans. It's me. I'm the first and only. I'm the first and only or you started a thing. I'm not sure how that went, but um that's got some bite to it. Yeah, that's got a little bite.
Speaker 1So now I'm I'm just here trying to find a new team.
Speaker 2She's just here, y'all. She's just here for she just there's no way. What is the process for you to pick a new team?
Speaker 1I have to like it. It doesn't matter. It's not about old bandwagoner. I don't do that. If I like it, I like it. And I'm going to research like the history of your team. Just know that.
Speaker 2Do you have a short list of contenders?
Speaker 1Um I do, actually. I do because do share. Oh. Wonderful. So do share, please. You know, I've always had respect for the Knicks. Always had respect for the Knicks.
Speaker 2And I've always Nixon Five. Nixon Five.
Speaker 1Again.
Speaker 2Nixon Five.
Speaker 1Again.
Speaker 2Again. Nixon five.
Speaker 1I've always had respect for Patrick Ewing.
Speaker 2Big Pat.
Speaker 1John Stark. Starkey. Um, Walt Fraser. Walt Clyde. So thought about them. Thought about the Spurs. Yet again, Timmy D, Robinson.
Speaker 2Mix and five.
Speaker 1And I like where they are.
Speaker 2Don't play with me.
Speaker 1I like where the Spurs are heading now. I did.
Speaker 2I like the young Spurs team.
Speaker 1I did like OKC, but I don't know enough for me to be like, I want to be a fan. And also all that flopping all around like a fish. Flopping like a fish. I don't have time.
Speaker 2You can always talk about the flopping like a fish now.
Speaker 1I don't have time for that. So I was also thinking about. Hmm. I thought about No pressure. The Timberwolves.
Speaker 2Minnesota's. I look killer crew.
Speaker 1I look at them. They're nice, but I also know a little bit about their history. Thought about the 76ers, then LeBron went there, and I was like, I don't know. I don't know because I don't like being a bandwagoner. I don't like I don't want to be lumped in with all those people that's going over there, aka your son. Um it's Philadelphia.
Speaker 2So LeBron fans, they don't know any barriers or any borders. True. But you're just gonna roll with LeBron.
Speaker 1Oh, well, you have a point. But I I when I was younger, I also loved Moses Malone.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, you're talking about the history of Philly. That's right.
Speaker 1And the Rockets. So I I look at older things as yeah, so got it.
Speaker 2Put it in a question. Mix them up. I want to know who you're gonna pick. I'm excited. So are you gonna pick, you're gonna give yourself like a timeline to pick, or you're just gonna let it come to you? Because the season's upon us. It's in two months.
Speaker 1I really think the team I'm really leaning towards.
Speaker 2There's a really and a leaning towards? They gotta be the favorite. Who's that? Come on. Spit it. The Knicks and the Knicks. Stop playing with me. I told you. Knicks and five.
Speaker 1The Knicks, because I love the cohesiveness.
Speaker 2And five. Stop playing over.
Speaker 1I love the cohesiveness.
Speaker 234th Street Penn Station. 7th Avenue, 8th Avenue. Get your money up to get tickets. I'm just saying.
Speaker 1I love the cohesiveness, and there's no egos.
Speaker 2BX Barrow, baby.
Speaker 1Everybody is they know their role. Brook Lawn. They know their role. And they do it well. Well enough to get a championship.
Speaker 2Just say. And and they bust up some records on their run. It was a record-breaking run.
Speaker 1Oh yeah.
Speaker 2It wasn't just winning. And oh, they just made it. No, they just made it and broke records. And they did the darn thing. They did, they did it, they did you kind of dirty. So the fact that everyone's influx into the east, like they're gonna cut them off at the pass. Right. Good luck. Nixon five. Again.
Speaker 1Again.
Speaker 2Again. And you know, LeBron's in the East. Hold up. Nixon six.
Speaker 1Give him one. Give him one game. I give a one for LeBron. Give him one for LeBron.
Speaker 2It's still Nixon six. I don't care. That's it. It's this beautiful thing. It's a beautiful thing.
